Reflection 2022 — Top 5 lessons learned from 2022
Read this story to learn from my experiences as I continuously push myself outside my comfort zone
Every new year brings a lot of hope and positive energy to progress continuously in our journey called “life” to fulfill our goals and dreams. Like the past few years, I spend some time at the beginning of the year to set my goals for the entire year. I also like to share my reflections from the previous to inspire many more like me who are on a mission to fulfill their own dreams and goals.
If you are wondering why you should read this article, then I must tell you that my story is no different from a person who is ambitious and dreams of creating his/her own legacy. Particularly, I want to create my legacy in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Yet, it’s not just about professional success rather it’s about being happy, successful, and enjoying our life journey throughout! So, in this article, I present what I have learned in the previous year, and I pledge what I wish to accomplish by the end of 2023. My story can inspire you to achieve your goals and create more awareness about what worked out for me as I continuously move forward in my quest.
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable
Let me start with a bitter truth. We all procrastinate. We all are afraid of failing. We all are uncomfortable when things change. Yet, change is the only constant! The only way to evolve and become better than what we are today is by taking risks and embracing the changes in our lives.
In my previous articles, I have often talked about the importance of taking risks to progress further. To be successful in my field, I follow the CVC (Capability, Visibility, and Credibility) mantra. To build new capabilities, it is important to take risks and step outside your comfort zone. But it’s much easier said than done! So, how did I build this mindset and attitude to take risks and step outside my comfort zone? Let me answer this in three simple points:
